The loop measures 4,645 m and is measured and certified by World Athletics, an essential condition for validating race results. The route runs through central Cluj-Napoca, including Splaiul Independenței, Podul Napoca, Bd. 1 Decembrie 1918, and Str. Giuseppe Garibaldi. Before each race, athletes report to the Athletes' Call Area in the parking adjacent to the finish; the call takes place 30 minutes before each start. ## Traffic Restrictions Traffic restrictions apply exclusively on Sunday, 28 June 2026, in the Cluj Arena area, for the time needed to set up the route, run the races, and clear the area. - Road closures begin at 06:00 - Races take place between 08:00 and 11:45 - Public transport changes apply roughly 06:00–12:00 Race route: Cluj Arena → Splaiul Independenței → Podul Napoca → Bd. 1 Decembrie 1918 → 180° turnaround after Str. General Gheorghe Pomuț → Str. Giuseppe Garibaldi → Podul Garibaldi → Splaiul Independenței → finish at Cluj Arena. Streets fully closed to traffic (06:00–11:45): Bd. 1 Decembrie 1918, Splaiul Independenței, Str. Giuseppe Garibaldi, Str. Sigismund Toduță, Str. Gavril Muzicescu, Str. General Gheorghe Pomuț, Str. Matei Milo, Str. Țebei, and Str. George Coșbuc. Podul Napoca is restricted to a single lane in the direction from Splaiul Independenței toward Str. Mamaia and Str. General Dragalina. Public transport (06:00–12:00) is temporarily rerouted on lines 30, 27, 28, 28B, 44, and metropolitan line M26, and tram service is replaced by special bus line 101A. Organizers recommend avoiding parking along the route, arriving according to schedule, and using alternative transport where possible. Kit pickup schedule: - For 27 June races: 26 June 12:00–20:00; 27 June 10:00–20:00 (up to one hour before the race) - For 28 June races: 26 June 12:00–20:00; 27 June 10:00–20:00; 28 June 07:00–07:40 ## Participant Requirements Each participant must: - Pay the registration fee - Present a valid identity document for verification - Accept responsibility for their own physical fitness and medical clearance - Follow the competition regulations and instructions from officials (race director, referees, volunteers, organizers) Participation is strictly personal: transferring a registration or participation right to another person, including wearing another person's bib, is prohibited and results in disqualification.
